For Style Analysis: Arrive in tighter fitting athleisure clothing for measurements. Bring two (2) outfits you like, and two (2) that you either do not, or like but don’t know why they don’t quite work.

For Virtual Style Analysis:
- 48 hrs before your appointment you’ll receive an email and spreadsheet with instructions for your measurements that you’ll need to send back.
- 24 hours before your appointment you’ll receive your workbook (as long as you’ve returned your measurements).
- Dress for the appointment in tighter fitting athleisure clothing and have two (2) outfits you like and two (2) that you either do not, or like but don’t know why they don’t quite work.

For DUO:
- Arrive in tighter fitting athleisure clothing for measurements
- We keep the studio at 72 degrees. Dress in layers if you’re cold natured.
- Come without make-up (we can remove it once you arrive if necessary).
- Please no strong perfume/fragrances, colored contact lenses, fake lashes, or fake tanning products.
- If you have had a spray tan within the past week please let us know ASAP and we will re-book you for the soonest available appointment (recent natural sun exposure and tan is typically fine).
- If you wear glasses, you will be asked to remove them during the analysis, so clear contact lenses may be a better option if you have them.

Life happens - we get it! Contact us 72 hours prior to your session to reschedule - or you can always reschedule from the link in your confirmation or reminder email(s).

If you cancel or reschedule within 72 hrs of your appointment or no call/no show to an appointment you will be charged the full appointment amount.

Cancellations made directly from your Acuity confirmation & reminder email(s) take effect immediately. Any emails for cancellation must be sent to howdy@maevemelange.com and receive a confirmation email in return in order to not incur a cancellation fee.

Absolutely not! Men benefit from Color and Style Analysis just as much as women do. Many male clients are often relieved to have their Analyses done because they’re able to shop much more efficiently and walk away spending less while looking better.

In order to book your appointment, payment will be taken then. You have the choice to pre-pay for the entire appointment or a $150 deposit. Time slots book fast and pre-payment ensures that your spot is saved just for you!

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable between services.

If a service is cancelled, your deposit will not be returned or transferred and you agree to this at checkout.

In order to correctly perform the analysis, any colored or highlighted hair will be covered with a white scarf. We will remove it at the end for photos, though! Part of your color analysis includes recommendations for hair colors that align with your season.

Natural gray hair is just that - natural! No need to cover your hair for the analysis.

Unless your kiddo is receiving their own personal analysis, we strongly recommend leaving little ones at home. If your older child (10+) is interested in observing they are welcome to join you, but remember this is YOUR time! Relax and enjoy it!

Color Analysis: The process of discovery is fun and exciting, so if your friend, significant other, aunt, mother or anyone near and dear to you wants to see what it’s all about, we invite them to join you as an observer! Filming is only allowed in the studio by our team.

Style Analysis: Only clients paying for Style Analysis are permitted into this session (regardless of in-person or virtual session). Filming is only allowed in the studio by our team.

This depends on what method was used for your analysis. If you had your colors analyzed using the traditional four-season system (which only recognizes people as either entirely warm/yellow or cool/blue undertone), chances are you will be draped one step further (more clarity!) with the 16-season and flow system that Blair uses.

Recognizing that 2/3 of people actually have neutral undertones (a mix of cool and warm to different degrees), this scientific system is much more reliable and provable than that of the four-season approach. Similarly, if you have had a virtual/digital color analysis it is unlikely that you have been correctly analyzed. Digital images are unreliable and computer monitor calibration varies widely, especially when it comes to accurate color representation.

Nope! They say, “you’re born a season and you die a season.” Personal Color Analysis narrows down the perfect colors for you based on your own personal skin tone, and as such does not change over time. It’s an investment that lasts a lifetime!

The youngest we will complete a Style Analysis is 25.

Clients need to have finished growing (for proportions), have a solid idea of who they are as a person (for essence), and had time to try many different styles in order to benefit from a Style Analysis.
